The forest is dead silent. It's as pretty as a picture, so no surprise everyone loves taking snaps and sharing. In stark contrast, on your left you have wispy long grass fields which make you feel like you are in Country America. Very similar actually to Snapper Pointsince it is actually just down the road! A perfect day for a wedding!!! Going back in time, if my wedding venue was not available, this would be where I choose to get married. Stonehurst Cedar Creek - The tasting (also free) was a bit different here, you could just ask to try any you wanted. Photo Porn (not real porn you pervert)! Located just a few hours from Sydney and Newcastle, any car can reach this destination and parking is available at the lookout. If youre tastings have been lacking that personal touch, then this is the place to come. It's a luxe location with classic country vibes. Here is where you get to enjoy the more vast scenery by getting more wide open shots! As the name suggests, the Hunter Valley is a region made up of several towns and villages. Running and jumping down dunes, wrestling, piggyback racing across the dunesthis place is the definition of fun. As the sun starts to set over the cliffs, you will get this amazing soft light hitting you, and it simply looks divine. Park here and start your walk (it is signposted) towards the mountain. Initially, it is very flat and quite dark as the sun hides behind the clouds and giant rock formations. With a large point that juts out into the ocean, this place is even more remote (and slightly more difficult to reach). Huge open roads with no cars on them to play on, really epic factories in the background, chain link metal fences, this might just have your name written all over it. voco Kirkton Park is the ultimate place to escape, unwind, and indulge in the Hunter Valley. Our favourite is Margan Wines in Broke, which bases all its food on what it can produce in its garden and orchards. Newcastle baths offer both beach and urban options to explore. There is even a bunch of old, abandoned boathouses which will give you that really grungy kind of look if thats more your flavour. Once you get to the carpark you will be faced with a beautiful, calm, quiet beach (even in Summer it is quiet) tucked in amongst large cliffs. of amazing shots, in every direction, at every time of day! Of course not, Duh! The park is also home to a garden of teddy bear cholla cactuses, which are pictured below. It literally takes about 30 minutes and is steep. As a result, knowing the best spots means being able to create angles that look like you are standing right on the edge, when in fact, you are 5 metres from the edge (safety is cool kids).
